How do I upload a data file?

Answer

To upload a data file you simply need to prepare your file in a .csv or .txt or .xls or .xlsx format. Then once logged into Datavalidators, select 'Upload File'. Once your file has been uploaded, click on Validate and Proceed to Cleanse. Once your list is cleaned and ready, the download button will turn bright green and your clean email list is ready to download! Simply click on download to choose the type of spreadsheet that you need! When you are done, simply delete your list from your profile!

What exactly is considered a ‘bad email’? What is data validation?

Answer

Duplicate emails, emails with improperly formatted addresses, emails with syntax errors, spam seed, BOT, honeypot, and bogus emails or domains increase your risk of being black-listed or labeled a “spammer” by Internet Service Providers (ISPs) and reduce deliverability to subscribers. By removing these from your email lists with email validation services, you can reduce bounce-backs and improve your sender reputation. When emails don’t reach intended recipients, bad sender reputation is usually the cause. Basically, ‘cleansing’ your lists is good hygiene and good for your email marketing campaigns!

I forgot my password. How do I retrieve it?

Answer

Data validity is important, and that's why we make it easy to re-gain access to your account. To retrieve a forgotten password, please visit our Login page. Then, click Forgot Password. You will be prompted to enter your email address. Please enter the email address you used when you registered and set up your account. Click Submit. Soon, you should receive an email from Data Validators with your account details, including your password. Once you get back into your account, you may want to change your password to something that is easier to type correctly or easier to remember. To change it, visit your Profile and select New Password/Change Notification Email and enter the required information. If for some reason you are unable to retrieve your forgotten password via email, please contact us at info@datavalidators.com and we will do what we can to help you access your account.

How do I register on Datavalidators.com?

Visit our sign up page and register for a free account. When you have an email list that needs cleansing, upload it to your account and select a price plan that suits your requirements.

What plans do you offer?

To view our package options, click on the Pricing tab on our website. Once you have decided which package is best for you, select View Pricing. You’ll be given the option of a Monthly or Pay As You Go plan. Current prices will be reflected next to each plan offering.

How do I change or upgrade my plan?

Answer

To change or upgrade your plan, please log into your account and select the My Plan tab. Here, you can click Upgrade Your Plan and you will be prompted to select a package, be offered a monthly or pay-as-you-go option, and be prompted to enter your payment information.
